KLARI Privacy Policy

KLARI is operated by Innovative Solutions Group L.L.C-FZ, Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (trade licence 2541317, Meydan Free Zone). This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use KLARI, how it is used, and what choices you have.

1. Information We Process

Account and sign-in information

When you create or access a KLARI account, we process information such as your name, email address and account identifier. If you choose Google Sign-In, Google provides the account information needed to authenticate you. Google Sign-In is optional; you may also use another sign-in option made available in the app.

App activity and content

To provide the app’s features, KLARI may process your book selections, searches, reading and listening activity, notes, saved progress, questions and other content you choose to enter. If you upload a PDF or another document, we process the submitted content to provide the feature you requested.

Device, diagnostics and marketing measurement

We may process app interaction data, device or advertising identifiers, approximate location, crash reports and diagnostic information. This information helps us understand app performance and usage, troubleshoot problems, improve KLARI and measure marketing activity.

Purchases and subscriptions

If you make an in-app purchase or subscribe, we process information about the product purchased, purchase history and subscription status to provide paid access and manage your subscription. Payment details are handled by the app store or, for klari.com purchases, by our payment provider under its own privacy terms. KLARI does not store your full card number. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms and other offer conditions are shown before you purchase.

2. How We Use Information

We use information for purposes such as:

• Creating and managing your account and sign-in.
• Providing KLARI’s reading, listening, document and other requested features.
• Saving your preferences, notes and progress.
• Processing purchases, subscriptions, renewals and related support requests.
• Responding to questions and resolving technical issues.
• Protecting the app, preventing misuse and maintaining service security.
• Understanding app usage, diagnosing crashes and improving performance.
• Measuring installs and marketing campaign results.
• Meeting legal, accounting and regulatory requirements.

Where applicable, we process information to provide the service you request, based on consent, our legitimate interests or legal obligations.

3. How Information Is Shared

KLARI works with service providers that help operate the app. Depending on the feature, they may process information for:

• App hosting, storage and technical operations.
• Account sign-in and authentication.
• Analytics, crash reporting and diagnostics.
• Purchase and subscription management.
• Install and campaign measurement through a mobile measurement partner (MMP).
• Customer support and service communications.

These providers may access information only as needed to perform their services for us. Google handles Google Sign-In, and the app store or payment provider processes purchases under its own terms and privacy policy.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or KLARI, to investigate fraud or misuse, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. We may share information in aggregated or de-identified form where it cannot reasonably identify you.

4. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide KLARI, maintain your account and progress, provide support, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or take steps to remove identifying details, subject to applicable legal requirements.

5. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You can manage information you provide through your account and device settings. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be able to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, receive a copy of it, object to certain processing or withdraw consent.

To make a privacy request, contact us at support@klari.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may need to be retained where the law requires it.

Delete your account in the app: open Profile, tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen, then enter your password to confirm.
Request account or data deletion outside the app: email support@klari.com from the address on your account.

Deleting your KLARI account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the store where you bought it, or on klari.com under Account, then Subscription.

6. International Processing

KLARI and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy laws may differ between countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No online service or method of storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

KLARI targets users aged 13 and older, subject to local age ratings and parental-consent requirements. If you believe a child below the applicable age has provided personal information to KLARI, contact us at support@klari.com so we can review the request.

9. Third-Party Services

KLARI may rely on app stores, sign-in services and other providers to support its features. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms. Please review those policies when using their services.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when KLARI or its data practices change. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we may provide additional notice through the app or another appropriate method.
